Carbon dioxide version 0.4

Our main carbon dioxide data product is the dry-air column averaged mixing ratio of carbon dioxide XCO₂ (in ppmv). XCO₂ is basically the ratio of the retrieved absolute column of carbon dioxide (obtained from channel 6) and the simultaneously retrieved O₂ column (obtained from the O₂ A-band covered by channel 4).

So far we have processed all available consolidated SCIAMACHY Level 1 orbit files from the time periode January 2003 - October 2003. We focus on the year 2003 because this is the target year of the EU 5th framework research project EVERGREEN.
