Title:
Acquittal for CO2: Review of a book written by W. Thüne

Wolfgang Thüne is one of the (few ?) skeptics of "official" climate change science represented by, e.g., the Intergovernmental Panel on Climate Change (IPCC). Thüne is meteorologist by training and has been a german television weather forecaster from the mid 70th to the mid 80th (i.e., in the good old times when - according to inquiries - a significant fraction of the audiance considered the speaker of the news (Tagesschau) to be the speaker of the government (and probably the weather speaker to be the weather god himself (my conclusion))). In his new book (don't worry: no equations) he presents his view on greenhouse gases and climate change. Among his thesis is that a greenhouse effect does not exist at all. The talk will give an overview on this book focussing on his main thesis and on "highlights" of his argumentation. I think that 30 minutes will be more than enough to give you a clear impression. Afterwards you will know how to save 20 Euro.
