A recent shipborne W-E crossing of the Tropical Atlantic carried instrumentation to measure several organic species in the atmospheric marine boundary layer and in the surface ocean. Air and seawater measurements were made between 10-0 °N and 60°W-5°E, and on either side of  the ITCZ. The first atmospheric chemistry results from this cruise will be presented including ozone, carbon monoxide and a range of organic trace gases.
