Uncertainty budgets of UV ozone absorption cross-sections

The uncertainties of three major UV ozone absorption cross-sections widely used in remote sensing have been reevaluated using a Monte Carlo approach. Further details can be found in a paper by Weber at al. (2016). The datasets are available in a zip file.

Figure caption. Modeled uncertainties of the three major ozone absorption cross sections (BP, SG, and BDM) at 319.4 nm (left) and 306 nm (right) based upon Monte Carlo simulations. Red crosses show the measured data, including temperature and measurement uncertainties (here expressed as the square sum of random and systematic errors). The green curve is the fitted polynomial and the black curves show the overall modeled 2s-uncertainty.
