Special Issues in Atmospheric Chemistry and Physics (ACP)

Atmospheric Chemistry and Physics (ACP) is an international scientific journal dedicated to the publication and public discussion of high quality studies investigating the Earth's atmosphere and the underlying chemical and physical processes. ACP was recently initiated by the European Geosciences Union (EGU). ACP has an innovative two-stage publication process involving the scientific discussion forum Atmospheric Chemistry and Physics Discussions (ACPD). Papers are first publicly disussed and peer-reviewed in ACPD before finally be published in ACP.

The German SCIAMACHY validation team has initiated a special issue in ACP dedicated to the scientific use of the correlative data measured for the validation of SCIAMACHY.

ACPD: Probing the atmosphere in three dimensions for SCIAMACHY
ACP: Probing the atmosphere in three dimensions for SCIAMACHY
Editors are J. P. Burrows and U. Platt.

A second special issue, initiated in the framework of SCIAVALIG and dedicated to the validation of operational and non-operational SCIAMACHY products is now open for submission.

ACPD: Geophysical validation of SCIAMACHY: 2002-2004
ACP: Geophysical validation of SCIAMACHY: 2002-2004
Editors are H. Kelder, P. Simon and U. Platt.
