How to get to SMHI

SMHI is situated in the southern part of Norrk÷ping. If you arrive by train, take the tram no 3 towards Klockaretorpet. Get off at the stop SMHI. The trip takes about 20 minutes and costs SEK 16.

If you arrive by air, its most convenient to take a taxi (about SEK 150). If you prefer public transport, try bus no 440 (about twice an hour, stops 300m from the terminal). Change to tram no 3 (towards Klockartorpet) at S÷der tull or Resecentrum depending on the route. Get off at the stop SMHI (SEK 16). (see also here)

Where to stay

There are 10 pre-booked rooms at hotel Kneippen. The price is SEK 550 (SMHI discount) including breakfast. The hotel is within walking distance from SMHI. Have a look at http://www.kneippen.nu.
