Carbon dioxide columns from SCIAMACHY

The SCIAMACHY/ENVISAT near-infrared / short wave infrared (NIR/SWIR) nadir spectra of reflected and backscattered solar radiation contain information on the column-averaged dry air mole fraction of carbon dioxide (CO2), denoted XCO2. At the University of Bremen we retrieve this information using a modified DOAS algorithm called WFM-DOAS. The latest version of our XCO2 retrieval algorithm is WFM-DOAS version 1.0. So far we have processed three years of data (2003-2005).
