Terms and conditions

According to changes in European law (2018) we are obliged to ask you for your confirmation that we are allowed to store your personal information. The reason why we store your data is to enable a bidirectional communication and to be able to create statistics (for internal use only). We will of course not pass your information to others. For this purpose we kindly ask you to register and explicitly confirm there that you agree with storing your personal data for the above mentioned purposes. Data may be used for non-commercial scientific studies. Any commercial applications, which we welcome, require written permission from Institute of Environmental Physics (IUP).
Any distribution of IUP data bases or documentation, as a whole or in parts, is not allowed.
For any publications resulting from the usage of IUP data a co-authorship must be offered to the data provider(s).
While IUP makes every effort to ensure that its databases are error-free, errors do occur. We ask that you notify us immediately of any errors that you discover in our data. We will make every effort to correct them. With respect to documents available from this server, we do neither make any warranty, express or implied, including the warranties of merchantability and fitness for a particular purpose; nor assume any legal liability or responsibility for the accuracy, completeness, or usefulness of any information, product, or process disclosed; nor represent that its use would not infringe privately owned rights. We shall not be liable for improper or incorrect use of this data, based on the description of appropriate/inappropriate uses.

Data download

To download the IUP data you will need a valid user name and password. You get the required login data upon successful registration by using the online registration form below. To avoid a misuse the requests are processed manually. Usual response time is 1-2 business days.
