Cloud Aerosol Surface PArameter Retrieval

The research group at the University of Bremen is engaged in aerosol, cloud and surface studies using optical sensors data from different satellite instruments (e. g., MERIS, MODIS, SeaWiFS). The main theoretical basis for our research is the radiative transfer theory and electromagnetic scattering theory.

We welcome Neha Mehendale und Linus Andrae, both PhD students, strengthening our group by working in the field of Arctic aerosol studies.

The group is a member of the special research field entiteled AC 3, https://ac3-tr.de/ to investigate climate change in the Arctic environment by exploring changes in cloud, aerosol and radiation properties using satellite instrumentation.

Furthermore our group is working in the field of aerosol products from EnMAP.
