Campaign with DLR's research aircraft Falcon. ASUR measures for the first time with a frequency range extended to 604.3 GHz that allows the detection of HNO3. Campaign areas are the Arctic and Europe.

ILAS / ADEOS validation (1997)
Campaign with the Falcon aircraft with different airbone submillimeter sensors in the Arctic.
Several coincident measurements with the satellite instruments ILAS and GOME are performed.

ASUR Campaign with the Falcon aircraft. Campaign base is Kiruna, Sweden. Several co-ordinated measurements with the GOME instrument on board the European satellite ERS-2 are performed for validation purposes.
