Armin Kleinböhl
- I am a PhD student with the ASUR group of the
Institute of Environmental Physics of the
University of Bremen. I participated in field measurements of
stratospheric trace gases with the ASUR instrument during NASA's SOLVE measurement
campaign at Kiruna, Northern Sweden in the Arctic winter
1999/2000. Currently I am concerned with the analysis and interpretation of these data. One of my major objectives
is the quantification of denitrification of the Arctic polar stratosphere using ASUR's HNO3 measurements.
- I studied physics at the University of Frankfurt / Main, Germany, and the University of Southampton, UK.
I did my diploma thesis in the field of nuclear research with the
EUROBALL / VEGA group
of GSI in Darmstadt. I performed
experimental investigations for the
development of a 2pi fission fragment detector based on the Delta E-E method.
The work was carried out within the framework of a cooperation between the
Institute for Nuclear
Physics of the University
of Frankfurt / Main and GSI.
The thesis is available on the WWW
via this link.
- During my activities at the
Institute of Environmental Physics of the
University of Bremen and GSI
I contributed to several publications. Click here for a list of publications.
