Workshop in Taipei within EMeRGe international

The Workshop on the "Impacts of Megacity Plumes on the Regional Atmospheric Chemistry in East Asia”, took place in Taipei on the 24. - 26. August 2016.

Organised by the Research Center for Environmental Changes, RCEC (Prof. Pao-Kuan Wang, Dr. Charles C.-K. Chou) and the National Taiwan University, NTU (Prof. Po-Hsiung Lin) for the presentation of EMeRGe and the discussion of a scientific collaboration in the framework of EMeRGe international. Representatives of IUP-University of Bremen (Prof. J.P. Burrows, Dr. M.D. Andrés Hernández), IPA-DLR (Dr. H. Schlager) and DLR-FX (K. Witte, S. Hempe) were invited to attend.


Within the workhop potential suitable hangars for HALO during the Asia campaign as well as the installations of the Cape Fugei Research station were visited.
