This is a list of major changes between the different m-factor versions. Please refer to the M-factor Technical Note for further details.

Version 7.01

Update 10 November 2010: The orbit change 22 Oct. to 04 Nov. required a S/W update in the m-factor setup. Unfortunately, the first version of the update introduced a problem with the validity start time of the m-factor files:
25 Oct - 01 Nov: The validity start time is ~1.5 days before the measurements.
02 Nov - 07 Nov: The validity start time is ~0.5 days before the measurements.
08 Nov onwards: The validity start time in nominal mode
No impact for users is expected, because changes in m-factors in this time range are not significant.
Update 8 April 2010: NRT m-factors contained erroneous values for channel 6,7, and 8 for the time frame 04 February 2010 - 6 April 2010. They are today replaced by corrected files.
Update 8 April 2010: The database archive covers currently the time interval 2 August 2002 to 08 February 2010.
Release Date: 4 February 2010
Based on reprocessed V7.0x data, applicable to V7.x Level 1b data only
Short term solution: All PMD m-factors are set to 1.
Reference date: 2 August 2002.
The database archive covers currently the time interval 2 August 2002 to 30 December 2009.
NRT service started (04 February 2010 onwards), data will be available usually one week after acquisition.

Release Date: 08 April 2008.
Based on reprocessed V6.03 data, applicable to V6.x Level 1b data only.
Short term solution: All PMD m-factors are set to 1.
Reference date: 2 August 2002.
Various minor bugfixes in setup and calibration.
The database archive covers currently the time interval 2 August 2002 to 31 March 2008.
NRT service started, data will be available usually one week after acquisition.
