Five measurement types (states) are used to calculate the m-factors. This pages shows the medians per channel of the degradation (=1/m-factor) observed for each of the states. Three states are used to monitor the nadir light path (White light source (WLS) and two flavours of solar measurements via sub-solar port). The limb and calibration light paths are monitored with the solar occultation (sun via ASM- and ESM- miror) and the solar diffuser (sun via ASM mirror and ESM diffuser) measurements. Please note, that these plot may include measurements, which are later not used in the operational m-factor calculation.
Click on the small images below to see the enlarged full plots. The plots are updated once per week using the latest NRT measurements from SCIAMACHY. The current plots covers the time range 02 Aug 2002 to
