- Mesoscale numerical modelling (especially WRF/Chem), chemistry transport modelling

- Satellite remote sensing of atmospheric trace gases and extratropical cyclones

- Transport of atmospheric trace gases and aerosols by weather systems

- Tropospheric bromine explosion events in the Arctic/Antarctic and links to polar cyclones
